Mali has been in the news a lot lately and unfortunately, the news has not been good. While the north of the country is in turmoil, the music goes on on in Bamako. A new DVD and 2CD called Mali All Stars focused on the legendary Studio Bogolan has just come out. Here’s a taste (warning, French with no subtitles, but the music speaks for itself).
